Gift cards have a UX problem. The experience of giving and receiving one rarely matches the sentiment behind it. HauteGift came to Grip with a vision for something better: a modern gifting platform built around the moment of receiving. I co-led the conceptual development of a 3D unboxing experience, creative direction for the campaign video, and the full digital touchpoint system, including a teaser page, homepage, and ordering flow.

The Experience

The concept centered on the gift recipient's moment of surprise. A 3D card unboxing sequence, a ribbon-opening animation, and a cinematic gifting loop were developed to make the digital experience feel physical and personal. The campaign video captured the emotional weight of giving well. Together, the visuals established HauteGift as a category of one in the digital gifting space.

Scope

I led the engagement from strategy through production: interviewed the client, developed design briefs, sourced and coordinated the 3D animation production, and managed the client relationship, contracts, and billing.
