There’s something intentional about building your own portfolio site from scratch. Not because hand-coding is inherently better than using site builders like Wix or Squarespace — but because for a Design Director, the site is the work.
Every decision — the type scale, the color system, the way case studies unfold — is a design decision. And I want those decisions to be mine.
The Stack
This site is built with Astro, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The foundation is solid markup and styles, with Astro handling the content management for writings, work, and lab experiments.
What’s Next
I’ll be migrating my best Substack and LinkedIn posts here, writing new pieces directly on the site, and sharing my AI experiments in a dedicated lab section.
